Teen Actor Studio (NEW) |
Verve Studios seeks to empower its young
actors as artists and continually strives for excellence in the
exploration of acting as an art form. The Professional Teen Actor
Studio produces young actors who are proactive, skilled and imaginative,
who are professional and employable.
The Professional Teen Actor Studio is a curriculum
based course for the young actors aged 15 – 17 years of
age. This course is aimed at developing creative potential by
providing essential and practical skills and techniques as well
as launching you into the Melbourne Acting Industry.
The curriculum for our new PTAS is vibrant, engaging and challenging.
Actors will work with a variety of professional actor trainers
and will cover ensemble practise, film/TV acting, approach to
text (contemporary and classical), skills (voice and physical),
skills integration and performance making. The year long course
will culminate in an Industry Showcase which will be widely attended
by Melbourne’s professional industry.
